About

“Life is a promise; fulfill it.” – Mother Theresa

Productive Life Concepts is about learning to live your “Life on Purpose.” It’s about being making sense of the chaos, bringing out your best, paying attention, being intentional, and taking action to create a better life.

You’ll find insight, ideas, tips, some helpful tools and I hope a bit of inspiration and encouragement to:

Be happier. Feel healthier. Work smarter. Learn and grow. Connect consciously. Live responsibly. Accomplish something. Be a good steward of time and resources. Explore your potential. Do more. Stress less. Have fun. Be creative. Be purposeful. Be mindful. Keep it simple. Work together. Laugh out loud.

Live with intention…on purpose. Be the best YOU, you can be. Create the best LIFE you can envision.

It means making choices consciously, and being aware of how those decisions affect the quality of our lives.

It means taking action with intention, instead of simply moving from one activity to the next, or doing nothing at all.

It means moving through life with eyes wide open rather than sleepwalking through our days.

It means having an awareness of who we want to be and what we want to accomplish, rather than being at the whim of what life throws at us.

This is your life. You’re creating it every day, with every decision, every action (or inaction), every reaction, along with your attitude, your focus, and your beliefs. These all shape your life, both the reality of it and your experience of it. So, be intentional – Pay attention to your life – think about what you’re doing, the kind of life you want, what you want to accomplish, and who you want to be.

A Bit more…

People fascinate me. Why do we do what we do? What makes us tick? And how can we use that information to better our lives…and the world really. I’m captivated by the idea of cultivating human potential, about discovering and bringing out the best in each of us, about improving the quality of our lives, to grow, to succeed, to make positive changes, to explore possibilities of who we can be and what we can do and have in life.

I ask far too many questions, and think far too much. I’m a compulsive list maker and note taker; I’m always jotting down ideas for…everything, my mind is always going on warp speed. I’m always looking for a better way, a new idea, a fresh strategy. I’m enthralled by self-exploration and making sense of the world and my place in it.

I’m also a self-professed information junkie with an insatiable curiosity, a hunger for knowledge, and an obsession for fabulous books and creative technology. I crave order. I clean when I’m stressed. I’m emotional by nature, I cry easily and boy can I get mad… I love music, dessert, the written word, fabulous tea, furry friends, and being outdoors. Children make my heart sing and also make me want to pull out my hair.

I’m flawed and human, a work in progress, doing the best I can to juggle my life as a professional woman, mentor, military wife, mom, sister, daughter, friend, nonni, and citizen of the world. I’m grateful for everything I have, the difficulties I’ve overcome, and the possibilities the future yet holds.

My Philosophy:

“True fulfillment is about living a productive and purposeful life and having the good sense to enjoy it while it’s happening.”

I believe that our true purpose in life is to grow to become more of ourselves, to dig down deep and explore the potential of what we have to give, to explore ways to maximize our time and energy, nurture our health and relationships, cultivate meaningful work and self-awareness, and express our creativity and spirituality, so that we are able to realize the very best of ourselves and live the most fulfilling life possible.
